I adore trying new looks and experimenting with various products. However, sometimes I just want a natural look that highlights my features without being overdone. That’s where a soft, delicate makeup look comes in handy; it’s ideal for everyday wear or situations when you want to seem put together without calling too much attention to your makeup.
Begin with a fresh, clean face to get a delicate, unobtrusive makeup look. Apply a mild moisturizer to your skin to nourish it and provide a smooth base for your makeup. Then, apply a light-coverage foundation or BB cream to level out your skin tone. If you have any blemishes or dark circles, mask them with concealer.
Next, use a natural-looking blush to bring color to your cheeks. Apply a complementary shade to the apples of your cheeks, blending it out towards your hairline. Keep the eyes basic with a neutral makeup tone. Depending on your preferences, you can go with a matte or sparkly finish, but stick to beige, taupe, or light brown tones from your favorite palettes. Apply the eyeshadow all over your lids and smooth it towards your crease for a natural, understated appearance. Apply a few coats of mascara to your lashes after defining them with brown eyeliner.
